<p><em>(Look for OneVike’s usual Sunday message on Christmas Day)</em></p>
<p>Back in May I wrote an article that asked the question, “<a href="http://www.norcalblogs.com/MT/mt-search.cgi?search=Was+Jesus+A+Socialist%3F&IncludeBlogs=14">Was Jesus A Socialist</a>?” As I wrote in the article it is my understanding of the Scriptures, and of God’s many rules and regulations to the Israelites, that Jesus was a capitalist. Thus I believe if He were walking among us and actually voting in our elections today, He would most certainly be a conservative capitalist.</p>
<p>Ok, so now we find ourselves at the doorstep of Christmas and unfortunately more children have probably heard of Santa than have heard of Jesus. So in the spirit of the season, and just so I can be fair and equitable with my political opinions, I have decided to share what I think of Santa’s political persuasion. This will be my message today. I realize it is not a Christian message so much as it is a political statement. I ask that you forgive me for this and allow me to digress into an area that many children may appreciate more then adults. I also do not want anyone to think that I am putting a beloved character on the same level as God, I am not, and please do not misconstrue the meaning of this article. I offer it as a simple and fun explanation of how I see liberals and what I think of Santa’s politics. </p>
<p><span id="more-4750"></span><br />
Now, to set up my reasons for the way I believe. I will begin by saying that if Santa were a real person and a politically minded individual he would be a conservative Republican. How can I be so sure of such a bold statement you may wonder? Well, I will list eight reasons for my belief. But before I offer my list, I would like to point out that when finished you will inevitably ask yourself the same question I have asked in the past. Why would any liberal Democrat like Santa, and why would they ever tell their children to like him? </p>
<p>The eight reasons Santa must be a conservative Republican</p>
<p><b>1.)</b> Santa waits till everyones asleep and no ones around, to see him do his good deeds. If Santa were a liberal Democrat, he would do his work in broad daylight where everyone could see and he would also call reporters and hold a press conference.</p>
<p><b>2.)</b> Santa gives toys and candy out using his own money and hard work. Liberal Democrats would pass a law that would call for redistribution of wealth from others. Then they would again hold a press conference to tell the parents how they have made the children’s Christmas better by forcing evil wealthy individuals to share the wealth.</p>
<p><b>3.)</b> If Santa were a liberal Democrat, he wouldn’t fly around on a cold drafty sleigh that was pulled by an endangered animal like the reindeer. The liberal Democrat would be flying around the world in a Boeing 747 paid for by the taxpayers of the world. Oh yeah, they would also have a huge “Save the Reindeer” sticker on the side of the plane for everyone to see.</p>
<p><b>4.)</b> When you go to the mall and see Santa there, what is he doing? He is asks the boys and girls what they want for Christmas, then he shuts up and listens as he remembers every detail of what the child wants. Liberals never listen. They just talk, talk, talk and talk some more as they tell you what they are going to do for you, regardless of whether you want it or not.</p>
<p><b>5.)</b> Santa hires elves. Fact is, you will never see a Liberal Democrat actually hire a physically disadvantaged individual, unless it was a token employ for the media to see. Liberals only use the disadvantaged for speeches and photo ops.</p>
<p><b>6.)</b> Santa believes in right and wrong, he checks his list twice to see who has been naughty and nice. If a child has been bad, well that child will be getting a lump of coal. As far as liberal Democrats are concerned, the very idea that there is a right and a wrong is antiquated and evil. If Santa were a liberal Democrat, he would actually give the best toys to the baddest child because after all it really is not his fault and we do not want any child to be stigmatized. That is why liberals insist on either making pregnant teenage girls valedictorians, or they have no valedictorians at all. Remember, to a liberal right and wrong, good and bad, are all relative.</p>
<p><b>7.)</b> Santa gives to others from a sacrificial, giving heart without expecting or demanding anything in return because he truly loves others. Liberals on the other hand believe everyone is entitled to something, but not because they love them, it is because they want something in return.</p>
<p><b>8.)</b> Finally, the last reason I believe Santa would be a conservative Republican, is because Santa shows up to work regardless of what the weather is like. He also is not afraid of long hours or having to work on holidays with no extra pay. Santa never goes on strike, demanding that we the people give him more than he already has. Also, when the working conditions get tough like foggy nights or heavy snow storms, instead of delaying his promise of delivering his gifts until the weather improves, he uses good old American ingenuity to come up with a technical solution to the problem. One time he found out that he could use an outcast reindeer, named Rudolph who had shiny nose, to help shine the light and deliver his presents to all the boys and girls of the world on time. Yup, Santa kept right on trucking without missing a step, and without demanding that the government get involved to do that which he promised he would always do.</p>
<p>So as you can plainly see Santa is a conservative Republican, not a Liberal Democrat. </p>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04098633255855869282noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3993945038116768777.post-16644132231803316692018-05-19T07:17:00.002-07:002018-05-19T07:24:52.553-07:00Lord Forgive Us<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
Dear Lord our Father, we come before you with a saddened heart. There has been another evil deed committed upon our children that could have been prevented, but for the forces of evil in our midst.
<br />
<br />
Lord, we cry with our fellow citizens who lost their precious children. Lost is the pride we once took in knowing our children would be safe in a place we send them for education. Lost is the understanding we had that they would be educated in a safe environment.
<br />
<br />
Instead O'Lord, our children are but pawns to be used by the evil that is constantly trying to destroy this nation we used to pledged to be under Your protection and guidance.
<br />
<br />
We cry for the freedom we once had in a country we once knew, in a world that is spiraling down the path of eternal destruction. Lord, we pray for wise minds to win the day so that we may do that which we must to protect our precious little ones.
<br />
<br />
Lord, we must be crazy, because we continually watch our fellow citizens who despise You and this once great country, to promote the very practices that murder our children before they even have a chance to live.
<br />
<br />
These same evil humans refuse to use the tools needed to keep our children from being slaughtered like they are nothing more than points to be collected in a first person shooter game.
<br />
<br />
O'Lord, if our children can survive the womb and then make it through school, then they must survive the wars we send them into so that those in countries that despise us can be free. Lord, from conception to adulthood, our children are just pawns to be used by the evil forces bent on ushering us all to hell.
<br />
<br />
Lord, forgive us, Lord, Forgive us.
<br />
Amen

<span style="font-size: x-small;"><i>by Chuck Ness
</i></span><br />
<br />
Churches need to stop being at the mercy of the liberal mindset, the government, or even their own congregations and start being at the mercy of God.
<br />
<br />
Clergy long ago spoke the truth to their flock, during the revolutionary war, and after. They would not only minister to the families, they would be involved in the daily lives of the people. They would fight next to them in battle, walk with them many hard miles in cold harsh winters.
<br />
<br />
They did not sit comfortably by while their flock suffered. Pastors would guide and direct their churches. They would instruct them on many issues in life. They did not walk around on their tip toes among their church family, instead they would lead them, they would help them to pave the way in many areas of life
<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a>Pastors and churches today, need to take a stand. They need to stop feeling pressured to give sermons that are politically correct. Sin is sin, sexual immorality, drugs, alcohol, gambling, or adultery; no matter what it may be, these things are wrong in eyes of God. It is time we stop dancing around and speak the truth.
<br />
<br />
Are you afraid of persecution? Maybe you worry the state will take away your churches nonprofit tax exempt status. Maybe many Christians worry they will get physically hurt if they speak the truth. Well, history is full of Christians being martyred for their faith, and for speaking the truth. Maybe the reason church attendance is down is because Christians refuse to put their own skin in the game. Imagine if the Apostles feared retribution for speaking the truth.<br />
<br />
They did not care for their own self survival, they stood toe to toe against those who tried to stop them as they spread the Gospel throughout the Roman Empire. One by one they fell on the Cross of Jesus to spread the truth about the Gospel of Christ. Today's Christians fear ridicule if they say something politically incorrect. No, they bled out for Christ, we in America yet to bleed. In the face of slander Christians in America run and hide, the Apostles faced death with a faith that moved mountains. We do not have that sacrificial faith that challenged the Roman Empire and won.<br />
<br />
Well I say stand up and put your faith in the One who died for you, and preach the truth whenever and wherever God leads you to. Preach that sermon on homosexuality, the slavery that comes from using drugs, and alcohol. The destruction that comes with gambling, the betrayal of adultery. You can call it anything you want, but if it goes against God’s law, it is a sin.
<br />
<br />
If we the church, we the pastors, teachers, apostles of Christ, don’t tell them, who will? If we fail to speak God's truth because of fear or pressure, we fail to do as we are called and ordained to do by Christ Himself. If we do not do the jobs we are called to do, we are no better than the world that allows it. We are called to speak truth, All Christians, not just pastors, and teachers, but all.
<br />
<br />
Churches need to stop being at the mercy of the worlds influence and start being at the mercy of God. Pastors need to stop worrying about being politically correct, and start being God correct. Stop worrying about the rocks that may come your way. Paul was stoned often, but he never stopped and he never changed the message to suit the politically correct crowds of the time.
<br />
<br />
Politically Correctness is not found anywhere in the scriptures. You will never find Jesus or the Apostles teaching political correctness. Only men and false religions teach it. The last great commandment Jesus gave was the Great Commission where He told the Apostles, and us,
<br />
<blockquote>
<span style="color: ”red”;"> "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."</span> Amen <a href="https://www.blogger.com/%E2%80%9Dhttps://www.blueletterbible.org/nkjv/mat/28/18/s_957018%E2%80%9D" post="”blank”">Matthew 28:18–20</a></blockquote>
Many things have changed since Jesus gave us this order over 2000 years ago. The Apostles wrote many letters to the churches setting them back on track when they messed up. But one thing that has never changed, is Gods Word and His Standards for our life.
<br />
<br />
God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, He never changes. The churches today are full of people that don’t want to admit their sin. The church body knows of the sin, but doesn’t speak of it. Pastors and elders seldom go to the their fallen member to call their sin out for repentance and prayer. Why is this happening in the churches?
<br />
<br />
I personally believe that too many pastors and churches are being pushed into the corner of being politically correct just like the rest of the world. Instead of changing the world, the world is changing the churches. They have forgotten that Christ is the head of the church, and His ways are not the world's ways.
<br />
<br />
Love the sinner, hate the sin. We all need help from time to time. The church has a duty to its people, why would you not tell them the truth. If we do not teach the truth, then we are teaching lies. The Bible is very clear that if you are not for God, you are against Him.
<br />
<br />
It is only by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony that true freedom comes. That is brought on by men gathering with other men, and women with other women, as iron sharpens iron, one man (or woman) sharpens another. The body of Christ is to speak life into the body. We are all the church, we are all the body, we all need to speak healing, freedom, and truth to those who need it. We would not go to a doctor who gives bad medical advice, we would not hire a carpenter who has no skills to fix our house, so why would we allow a preacher who is influenced by political correctness to lead a congregation away from the Light and into darkness?<br />
<br />
When you were a little kid you came in from playing outside. Your mother would tell you to go wash up, and you would go. If after you washed up there was more dirt on that towel than there was in the sink. She would then tell you to go back and wash again, this time use the soap.
<br />
<br />
The funny thing about the truth is, like the soap , if you don’t use it doesn’t work. Just as we need soap to clean the dirt from our bodies, so too we must use the truth to heal the brokenness that is within us. Apply that soap. Stop tip toeing around truth, just because you are afraid of hurting someones feelings. Proclaim Gods Word in the Name of Jesus. Christ is no respecter of persons, He is a respecter of the truth and doing the Will of the Father.
<br />
<br />
What will we do church, pastors, teaches, apostles, and saints. What stand will we take, will we let this continue or will we make a stand. A warrior fighting a battle needs to sustain his body with hearty meal, milk is a nice refresher but the meat is what is going to revive his strength, and give him courage. When we are in a battle standing toe to toe with our enemy, we need to be prepared. Most battles are fought in close quarter combat. Long range snipers are not common in this battle.
<br />
<br />
So I ask you, what is it that you as an Apostle of Christ or a church will do? What stand will you take in this crisis that the church today is suffering?
<br />
<br />
<i>I pray that those who have ears to hear, will hear what the Spirit says to the churches, and call upon His name. Amen </i>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04098633255855869282noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3993945038116768777.post-74740774747849209182018-05-04T23:30:00.002-07:002018-05-04T23:31:28.504-07:00Let Go Of The Anger (Romans 12:18-21)<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><i>by Chuck Ness
</i></span><br />
<br />
Anger is an acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which it is stored than to anything on which it is poured. Paul tells us to;
<br />
<blockquote>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking<br />be put away from you, with all malice.</i> <a href="https://www.blueletterbible.org/nkjv/eph/4/31/s_1101031" post="blank">Ephesians 4:31</a></div>
</blockquote>
Anger and rage do more harm to those those who practice it, than it does to the person the anger is targeted at. How many times have we witnessed someone so full of anger and rage that they end up doing something that only hurts themselves. How many times has that happened to you?<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a>The Lord our God gave us a free will. The ability to choose which road to take in our daily journey.
We can choose to walk in peace with The Lord, or we can choose to walk in anger with the enemy. One is grace the other is not, one is obedience the other is sin.
<br />
<br />
For many years I walked with anger in my heart for those who did me wrong or hurt my loved ones. I chose to sin and be angry rather than be obedient and let go of that anger.
It took many years to learn this lesson. And all it took, was for me to submit to the will God in my life.
To see things through His eyes instead of my own. To realize how many times He offered me grace instead of reacting in anger.
<br />
<br />
Through the sacrifice of His Son, I have salvation, but with that salvation comes the duty to love, not hate. He loves me, and his grace is sufficient for me, who am I to do any less for others?
<br />
<br />
I am not perfect by any means, but I try my best to love and bless those who do me wrong. When I am successful at holding back my anger, I know that I will heaping coals of fire upon their heads instead burning myself with my anger.
<br />
<blockquote>
<i>If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, "VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY," says the Lord. Therefore "IF YOUR ENEMY IS HUNGRY, FEED HIM; IF HE IS THIRSTY, GIVE HIM A DRINK; FOR IN SO DOING YOU WILL HEAP COALS OF FIRE ON HIS HEAD.Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. </i><a href="https://www.blueletterbible.org/nkjv/pro/25/21/s_653021" post="blank">Proverbs 25:21-22</a> & <a href="https://www.blueletterbible.org/nkjv/rom/12/18/s_1058018" post="blank"> Romans 12:18-21</a></blockquote>

<br />
<br />
Many wonder what life after death would be like. In reality know one knows. Yet many warnings are given in the Scriptures as to what death will be like if Christ is not the one you worship and obey. Here is a story of a man who was pronounced dead, but was not. The following an account as told by George Lennox, who was serving time in prison for the offense of stealing horses.<br />
<a name='more'></a><blockquote>
<i>During the winter of 1887 and 1888 he worked in the coal mines. The place where he was laboring seemed dangerous to him. He reported the fact to the officer in charge, who made an examination, and deciding that the room was safe, ordered Lennox back to his work. The convict, obeying, had not continued his work more than an hour, when the roof fell in and completely buried him. He remained in this condition fully two hours.</i><br />
<i><br /></i>
<i>Missed at dinnertime, a search was instituted for the missing convict, and he was found under this heap of rubbish. Life seemed extinct. He was taken to the top, and on examination by the prison physician, was pronounced dead. His remains were carried to the hospital where he was washed and dressed, preparatory for interment. His coffin was made and brought to the hospital. The chaplain had arrived to perform the last sad rites preparatory to burial. A couple of prisoners were ordered by the hospital steward to lift the corpse from the boards and carry it across the room and place it in the coffin. They obeyed, one at the head, and other at the feet and were about half way across the room when the one who was at the head accidentally stumbled over a cuspidor, lost his balance, and dropped the corpse. The head of the dead man struck the floor, and to the utter surprise and astonishment of all present, a deep groan was heard. Soon the eyes opened, and other appearances of life were manifested. The physician was immediately sent for, and by the time he arrived, some thirty minutes, the dead man had called for a cup of water, and was in the act of drinking when the physician arrived.</i><br />
<i><br /></i>
<i>The coffin was at once removed and later on was used to bury another convict. His burial robes were also taken from him, and the prison garb substituted. On an examination he was found to have one of his legs broken in two places, and was otherwise bruised. He remained in the hospital some six months, and again went to work.</i><br />
<i><br /></i>
<i>I learned of his peculiar experience while apparently dead soon after, from a fellow miner. Prompted by curiosity, I longed for an acquaintance with Lennox to get his experience from his own lips. This opportunity was not offered for several months. At last it came. After being removed from the mines I was detailed to one of the prison offices to make out some annual reports. The subject of this man's return to life was being discussed on e day, when he happened to pass by the office door and was pointed out to me. It was not long until I had a note in his hand, and asked him to come where I was at work. He did so, and here I got well acquainted with him, and from his own lips received his wonderful story. He is a young man, probably not over thirty years of age. He had been a hardened criminal; is possessed of a very good education, and naturally very bright.</i><br />
<i><br /></i>
<i>The most wonderful part of his story was that during the time he was dead. Being a shorthand reporter, I took his story from dictation.</i><br />
<i><br /></i>
<i>Said he, " I had a presentiment all the morning that something terrible was going to happen. I was so uneasy on account of my feelings that I went to my mining boss Mr. Grason, and told him how I felt, and asked him if he would not come and examine my coal room, the place where I was digging coal. He came and seemed to make a thorough examination, and ordered me back to work, saying there was no danger, and that he thought I was going, 'cranky'. I returned to my work, and had been digging away for something like an hour, when all of a sudden, it grew very dark. Then it seemed as if a great iron door swung open and I passed through it. The thought then came to my mind that I was dead and in another world. I could see no one, nor hear sound of any kind. From some cause unknown to myself, I started to move away from the doorway, and had traveled some distance when I came to the banks of a broad river. It was not dark, neither was it light. There was about as much light as on a bright, starlit night. I had not remained on the banks of this river very long until I could hear the sound of oars in the water, and soon a person in a boat rowed up to where I was standing.</i><br />
<i><br /></i>
<i>"I was speechless. He looked at me for a moment, and then said that he had come for me, and told me to get into the boat and row across to the other side. I obeyed. Not a word was spoken. I longed to ask him who he was, and where I was. My tongue seemed to cling to the roof of my mouth. I could not say a word. Finally, we reached the opposite shore. I got out of the boat, and the boatman vanished out of sight.</i><br />
<i><br /></i>
<i>"Thus left alone, I knew not what to do. Looking out before me, I saw two roads which led through a dark valley. One of these was a broad road and seemed to be well traveled. The other was a narrow path and led off in another direction. I instinctively followed the well-beaten road. I had not gone far when it seemed to grow darker. Ever and anon, however a light would flash up from the distance, and in this manner I was lighted on my journey.</i><br />
<i><br /></i>
<i>"Presently I was met by a being that is utterly impossible for me to describe. I can only give you a faint idea of his dreadful appearance. He resembled a man somewhat, but was much larger than any human being I ever saw. He must have been at least ten feet high. He had great wings on his back. He was black as the coal I had been digging, and in a perfectly nude condition. He had a spear in his hand, the handle of which must have been fully fifteen feet in length. His eyes shone like balls of fire. His teeth, white as pearl, seemed fully an inch long. His nose, if you could call it a nose, was very large, broad and flat. His hair was very coarse, heavy and long. It hung down upon his massive shoulders. His voice sounded more like the growls of a lion in a menagerie than anything I can recall.</i><br />
<i><br /></i>
<i>"It was during one of the flashes of light that I first saw him. I trembled like an aspen leaf at the sight. He had his spear raised as if to send it flying through me. I suddenly stopped. With that terrible voice I seem to hear yet, he bade me follow him; that he had been sent to guide me on my journey. I followed. What else could I do? After he had gone some distance a large mountain appeared to rise up before us. The part facing us seemed perpendicular, just as if a mountain had been cut in two and one part had been taken away. On this perpendicular wall, I could distinctly see these words, 'This is Hell.' My guide approached this perpendicular wall, and with his spear handle gave three loud rasps. A large massive door swung back and we passed in. I was then conducted on through what appeared to be a passage through this mountain.</i><br />
<i><br /></i>
<i>"For some time we traveled in Egyptian darkness. I could hear the heavy footfalls of my guide and thus could follow him. All the way along I could hear deep groans as of some one dying. Further on, these groans increased, and I could distinctly hear the cry water, water, water. Coming now to another gateway, and, passing through, I could hear, it seemed, a million voices in the distance, and the cry was for water, water. Presently another large door opened at the knock of my guide, and I found that we had passed through the mountain, and now a broad plain lay before me.</i><br />
<i><br /></i>
<i>"At this place my guide left me to direct other lost spirits to the same destination. I remained in this open plain for a time, when a being somewhat similar to the first one came to me; but instead of a spear he had a huge sword. He came to tell me of my future doom. He spoke with a voice that struck horror to my soul. 'Thou art in hell,' he said; 'for thee all hope is fled. As thou passed through the mountain on thy way hither, thou didst hear the groans and shrieks of the lost as they called for water to cool their parched tongues. Along that passage there is a door that opens into the lake of fire. This is soon to be thy doom. Before thou art conducted to this place of torment never more to emerge - for there is no hope for those who enter there - thou shalt be permitted to remain in this open plain, where it is granted to all the lost to behold what they might have enjoyed instead of what they must suffer.'</i><br />
<i><br /></i>
<i>"With this I was left alone. Whether the result of the terrible fright through which I had passed I know not, but now I became stupified. A dull langour took full possession of my frame. My strength departed from me. My limbs refused to support my body longer. Overcome, I now sank down a helpless mess. Drowsiness now took control of me. Half awake, half asleep, I seemed to dream. Far above me, and in the distance, I saw the Beautiful City of which we read in the Bible. How wonderfully beautiful were its walls of jasper. Stretching out and away in the distance, I saw vast plains covered with beautiful flowers. I, too, beheld the river of life and the sea of glass. Vast multitudes of angels would pass in and out through the gates of the city, singing, oh, such beautiful songs. Among the number I saw my dear old mother, who died a few years ago of a broken heart because of my wickedness. She looked toward me and seemed to beckon me to her, but I could not move. There appeared to be a great weight upon me that held me down. Now a gentle breeze wafted the fragrance of those lovely flowers toward me, and I could now more plainly than ever, hear the sweet melody of angel voices, and I said, 'Oh, that I could be one of them.'</i><br />
<i><br /></i>
<i>"As I was drinking from this cup of bliss it was suddenly dashed from my lips. I was aroused from my slumbers. I was brought back from happy dreamland by an inmate of my dark abode, who said that it was now time to enter upon my future career. He bade me follow him. Retracing my steps I again entered the dark passageway, and followed my guide for a time, when we came to a door that opened in the side of the passage, and going along this, we finally found ourselves passing through another door, and lo! I beheld the lake of fire.</i><br />
<i><br /></i>
<i>"Just before me I could see, as far as the eye could reach, that literal lake of fire and brimstone. Huge billows of fire would roll over each other, and great waves of fiery flame would dash against each other and leap high in the air like the waves of the sea during a violent storm. On the crest of the waves I could see human beings rise, but soon to be carried down again to the lowest depths of this awful lake of fire. When borne on the crest of these awful billows for a time their curses against a just God would be appalling, and their pitiful cries for water would be heart-rending. This vast region of fire echoed and re-echoed with the wails of these lost spirits.</i><br />
<i><br /></i>
<i>"Presently I turned my eyes to the door through which I had a few moments before entered, and I read these awful words, 'This is thy doom; Eternity never ends.' Shortly I began to feel the earth give way under my feet, and I soon found myself sinking down into the lake of fire. An indescribable thirst for water now seized upon me. And calling for water my eyes opened in the hospital prison.</i><br />
<i><br /></i>
<i>"I have never told this experience of mine before for fear the prison officials would get hold of it, think me insane and lock me in the crankhouse. I passed through all of this, and I am as well satisfied as I am that I live, that there is a Heaven and there is a Hell, and a regular old-fashioned Hell, the kind the Bible tells about. But there is one thing certain, I am never going to that place any more.</i><br />
<i><br /></i>
<i>"As soon as I opened my eyes in the hospital and found that I was alive and on earth once more, I immediately gave my heart to God and I am going to live and die a Christian. While the terrible sights of Hell can never be banished from my memory, neither can the beautiful things of Heaven I saw, I am going to meet my dear old mother after awhile. To be permitted to sit down on the banks of that beautiful river, to wander with those angels across the plains, through the vales and over the hills carpeted with fragrant flowers, the beauty of which far surpasses anything that mortal can imagine; to listen to the songs of the saved - all this will more than compensate me for living the life of a Christian here on earth, even if I have to forego many sensual pleasures in which I indulged before coming to the prison. I have abandoned my companions in crime, and am going to associate with good people when I am once more a free man."</i></blockquote>
This account is just as we received it from Lennox.<br />
<br />
It is one of the most wonderful experiences it has ever been our lot to read. May God bless this message from Mr. Lennox to the awakening of many lost souls. Oh, how can men doubt the existence of a real, literal burning Hell? Tell me, how can they, when we have the Word and remarkable revelation such as the above from time to time? Men and women, stop! Face about! Get a real Bible experience of heart felt salvation, lest you experience the reality of not only forty-eight hours, but an Eternity in Hell.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04098633255855869282noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3993945038116768777.post-56611274364150111692018-05-04T21:19:00.003-07:002018-05-04T21:19:57.719-07:00Lord Jesus Come Quickly<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

With Trump in office, I thought it would be a great idea for everyone to get an idea of all the taxes we pay. Many are different by state, but we are all over taxed. So the next time you hear some liberal complain we need to pay more taxes to take care of some lame liberal pet project of theirs, just give them a copy of this list.</div>

We are entering another election year, and this one is as important as the one which put Donald Trump in the oval Office. Now is not the time to sit on your laurels. We need everyone to understand the importance of repeating what we did on November 8, 2016. The establishment is doing all it can to stop the process of cleaning out the swamp. Mind you, the "Swamp" consists of members from both the Republican and Democrat parties. Our Founding Fathers warned us to be alert, if we desire to keep that which they gave us.
<br />
<blockquote>
<blockquote>
<i>"The price of liberty is eternal vigilance"</i> <span style="font-size: x-small;">Thomas Jefferson</span></blockquote>
History records, that when Benjamin Franklin walked out the doors of Independence Hall at the end of the 1787 Constitutional Convention, A woman asked him,
<br />
<blockquote>
<blockquote>
<i>"Well, Doctor, what have we got, a Republic or a Monarchy?"</i></blockquote>
Benjamin replied,
<br />
<blockquote>
<i>"A Republic my dear. If you can keep it."</i></blockquote>
</blockquote>
</blockquote>
<a name='more'></a>The quotes above, tells us how important it is to educate ourselves, and our children. We all must understand the power the Constitution gives us, the people. By understanding our rights and the governments limits, we will have the knowledge to fight against political heresy. Sadly, way too many Americans have never read it, and so they only know what others have told them it means. This is why so many are willing to give away their constitutional rights to the government. Thus, the government now has more power than it was intended to have.
<br />
<br />
Many Americans just don't understand the gift our Founding Fathers gave us when they wrote the Constitution. After the Bible and the Magna Carta, the US Constitution is the most powerful document in the history of mankind. To keep it from being shredded any more than it already is, we need to convince those who think like us, to vote each and every time there is an election. If we fail, then our freedom will one day be lost.
<br />
<br />
Without that freedom gone, we will also lose our right to worship as we so choose. We can already see Christianity being attacked at every level with the help of judges who swore allegiance to the very constitution that defends our religious rights. The swamp is deep, and the fight is fierce. Satan has his minions inside every dept of the government, and it will take more than just a vote, it will take prayers and diligence on our part. We won a battle in November 2016, but it was just a battle. The war goes on.
<br />
<br />
Never ever forget, had Hillary Clinton won the election in 2016, the United States as we know it would be over. We would have lost everything our Founding Fathers fought and died for. That is how precarious the situation was after Obama's 8 years of destruction. Don't believe me? Look how they are still trying to overturn the election 19 Months after Trump won. I thank God every day I wake up, when I say grace with my meals, and when I go to bed, that Donald Trump is our President. He has his faults, and he has and will again make mistakes, but not since the great Ronald Reagan have we had a true man of the people in the Oval Office.
<br />
<br />
Yet, even though God blessed America to have Trump as our President today, you can see how destructive and invasive the diseases of Socialism, Communism, & Fascism have become in our government. The cancer of the "Deep State" will stop at nothing to keep the power they spent over a hundred years amassing.<br />
<br />
As powerful and intrusive as the government was when Reagan was elected in 1980, it is ten time worse today. Since the great Renaldo Maximus left office in 1989, we have had another 3 Presidents whittle away our Constitutional rights with new programs that have ballooned into monstrosities. The United States cannot, and will not, will not survive another 28 years of leaders who have a "One World Order" mentality. That's why our President needs our help.
<br />
<br />
To truly understand the sacrifice given for us to be free, consider just a few of the many the Patriots gave so we could be free today.
<br />
<blockquote>
<i style="background-color: cyan;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">Carter Braxton of Virginia, a wealthy planter and trader, saw his ships swept from the seas by the British Navy. He sold his home and properties to pay his debts, and died in rags. Thomas McKeam was so hounded by the British that he was forced to move his family almost constantly. He served in the Congress without pay, and his family was kept in hiding. His possessions were taken from him, and poverty was his reward.
<br />
<br />
British soldiers looted the properties of Dillery, Hall, Clymer, Walton, Gwinnett, Heyward, Ruttledge, and Middleton. At the battle of Yorktown, Thomas Nelson, Jr., noted that the British General Cornwallis had taken over the Nelson home for his headquarters. Thomas Nelson quietly urged General George Washington to open fire. His own home was destroyed, and Nelson died bankrupt.
<br />
<br />
Francis Lewis had his home and properties destroyed. The enemy jailed his wife, and she died within a few months. John Hart was driven from his wife's bedside as she was dying. Their 13 children fled for their lives. His fields and his gristmill were laid to waste. For more than a year he lived in forests and caves, returning home to find his wife dead and his children vanished. A few weeks later he died from exhaustion and a broken heart. Norris and Livingston suffered similar fates.
<br />
<br />
Such were the stories and sacrifices of the American Revolution. These were not wild eyed, rabble-rousing ruffians. They were soft-spoken men of means and education. They had security, but they valued liberty more. Standing tall, straight, and unwavering, they pledged: "<b>For the support of this declaration, with firm reliance on the protection of the divine providence, we mutually pledge to each other, our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor</b>.</span>"</i></blockquote>
Those were just a few of the thousands of such stories of real men and women who sacrificed everything they had. They did not give everything so that some future generation would spit upon their sacrifice while giving back to the King that which they gave all for. God help us, because we don't seem to want to help ourselves like our ancestors did time and time again. From the Revolutionary War to today's war against "Radical Islam", men and women sacrifice for future generations to be free.
<br />
<br />
Now is the time to show them that their sacrifice was not in vain. We must do all we can, to defend and support Donald Trump as he battles the Swamp for us, and to do so he needs a Congress that will fight with him. Wake up and get involved so that come November we can replace as many Swamp creatures in Congress as possible.<br />
<br />
Come 2020, 2022, and then again in 2014 will will need to do so again. It is a constant battle we must fight, because the Swamp will not just give up and walk away. Mind you, Satan counts upon us being apathetic so he can destroy the very freedom of our descendants. Our children, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren depends upon our eternal vigilance. We must be sure to instill in them, the desire to keep fighting for that which we were given by our ancestors. We all need to understand that, "<b>The Price of Liberty is Eternal Vigilance</b>."<br />

<br />
Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other
Mary came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from
heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. His countenance was like lightning,
and his clothing as white as snow, and the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men. But the
angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.
“He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. “And go quickly and tell
His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will
see Him. Behold, I have told you.” <a href="https://www.blueletterbible.org/nkjv/mat/28/1/s_957001">Matthew 28:1-7</a>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04098633255855869282noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3993945038116768777.post-45277301580059699162018-03-26T07:52:00.000-07:002018-03-26T08:29:30.514-07:00Trump Shows He Is Shrewd, Cunning, & Crazy Like A Fox<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<i><span style="font-size: xx-small;">Trump Signs Omnibus spending bill March 23, 2018</span></i></div>
<br />
Trump is smarter than many realize, or want to admit. He may have actually won by signing the bill many of us hate. Follow me.
<br />
<br />
To begin with, you need to understand that the bill President Trump signed, was NOT a Budget. It was an Omnibus Spending bill. The President is directed by the Constitution to adhere to a Budget that Congress approves. A ‘spending bill’ is not the same as the Federal Budget. This bill is just a another Continuing Resolution to keep the government functioning, but this time for 6 Months.<br />
<br />
As such, he is not bound by law to do everything it calls for. We may find out that he only spends $800 Billion instead of the full $1.3 trillion. If so, I can only imagine who will not be getting the money they expected.
<br />
<br />
Remember, 8 years Obama never once had a budget. Thus he had free reign to spend or not spend the money allocated at his will and when he so desired. We know that Obama spent, or didn’t spend, the money from all those Omnibus Spending Bills. He did whatever he wanted to and Congress didn’t, and couldn't do a thing about it!
<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a>After all, what ever happened to all those “shovel ready jobs”? What happened to the “Infrastructure” that Congress appropriated money for? Obama didn’t spend the money on those things, did he? We really don't even have a clue as to what he spent the money on, or who he gave it to. (ISIS maybe?)
<br />
<br />
He also spent money on things that weren’t appropriated, like all that SWAT Gear and Ammo for all those govt agencies that aren’t supposed to armed to the teeth like like military forces are.
<br />
<br />
Well truth is, Obama was never bound by a Budget, because Congress never passed one during his 8 years! That’s why he was able to spend money on whatever he wanted to. Or, not spend money on the things he didn’t want to see funded.
<br />
<br />
An article in Forbes gives some ideas of how Trump can do what I believe he will be doing. <a blank="" href="https://www.forbes.com/sites/charlestiefer/2017/08/18/trump-may-slash-congressional-spending-priorities-by-impounding-funds/2/#3703e7347f64'%20target=">How Trump Could Circumvent Congress On Spending By Impounding Funds</a>
This article shows the leeway Trump has at his disposal to defer spending available funds for limited amounts of time, depending on the program. Some observers expect Trump officials to rely heavily on such deferrals.
<br />
<br />
Most budget experts will tell you that a President seeking to spend less will find plenty of room to maneuver in the language used in an authorization or appropriations bill. Who knows, we could learn later this year that Trump spent less than half of what Congress authorized him to spend. Nice to have a frugal President for a change, ain't it?
<br />
<br />
Another article back in August of 2017, by Politico, had also pointed out that Trump could ignore Congress on spending. In it a Senate aide predicted that lawmakers will pay extra attention to whether a bill uses words such as “may,” “should” or “shall” — each of which gives an administration different degrees of flexibility in terms of how money is spent. <a href="https://www.politico.com/story/2017/08/18/fears-grow-trump-will-ignore-congress-spending-241768" target="blank"><b>Fears grow that Trump could ignore Congress on spending</b></a>
<br />
<br />
The executive branch also “can slow walk things. It can propose reprogramming. It can propose all sorts of things that won’t provoke a legal crisis,” the Senate aide added.
<br />
<br />
As for funding Planned parenthood, the Hyde Amendment specifically prohibits federal money being spent on abortion in other than certain specific circumstances? Trump could just tell PP, "Sorry Charley, but the Hyde Amendment stops me from giving you money." Or at least force PP to prove any money spent meets the requirements? Even then, he slow walk the money until he gets the legislation he wants to kill the funding permanently.
<br />
<br />
Another point is that during the press conference, Trump emphatically said that the border security is part of our national defense. trump could very well use the money he got for defense to build the wall. Thus ensuring the defense of America by stopping the invaders from freely entering the country.
<br />
<br />
Looks like Trump played Congress like a fiddle. He used the same tactic's the last administration used used. When was the last time we saw a Republican president fight the left by using the same tactics they use? Well Trump has been doing it since he first said he was running for President. He did so in the election in how he treated his opponent, and now he is doing so in how he runs the government.
<br />
<br />
Trump is playing 3D chess while everyone is still playing checkers. Also, Trump showed the world the that the Democrats and Republican Establishment could care less about DACA, because in a bill that seemed to have given away Ft Knox, there is nothing about DACA. They just lost a major election talking point by not making sure it was included. Plus, the Democrats cannot go back to their communist districts and blame the DACA problem on Trump and Republicans, because more Democrats voted for the final bill than Republicans did.
<br />
<br />
So in a nut shell, Congressional Swampers screwed themselves for not approving a budget and Trump is getting exactly what he wants, because he signed an Omnibus spending bill that does not have the shackles a Budget has. Plus he got $700 Billion this year and $716 Billion next year. That includes the largest pay raise in history for our soldiers.
<br />
<br />

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXu4Z4fzPdieEo6L5rI2S8jF9VVUqzH1ZRbdqiFtvE3NJcThnqTLUYqe5MALFUWnFcCFMsy7ekZwXuI3ghwK_N8515086f0iMuqs_6EMSK4UGLeg3i0RdbPu433FgD2eOFVfKlprvuY0pb/s1600/Joseph+Sold+By+His+Brothers.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="317" data-original-width="500" height="203" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXu4Z4fzPdieEo6L5rI2S8jF9VVUqzH1ZRbdqiFtvE3NJcThnqTLUYqe5MALFUWnFcCFMsy7ekZwXuI3ghwK_N8515086f0iMuqs_6EMSK4UGLeg3i0RdbPu433FgD2eOFVfKlprvuY0pb/s320/Joseph+Sold+By+His+Brothers.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="color: white; font-size: x-small;">0</span><span style="color: red; font-size: x-small;">1</span> The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD,
<br />
<span style="color: white; font-size: x-small;">00</span> Like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.
<br />
<br />
When you wonder why a President does things that are clearly out of the norm for that individual, now you know why. I'm not saying that the evil things some Presidents have done are by God's will, but the good things the one's like Obama or Clinton have done that are moral, ethical, and logical. Now, its not because their heart has all of a sudden become pure or they had an Epiphany, but rather it's because God turned them from that which they wanted to do, to doing His will instead. I am sure that like us, they too wonder why they did those things that are not what they intended.
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
See, while we do have free will, God does reserve the right to remove our free will from time to time in order to have a good thing accomplished for other reasons from time to time. Case in point would be when Balaam was hired by Balak, the King of Moab, to curse the Israelites. Instead he blessed them, because God would not allow him to curse His people. (<a href="https://www.blueletterbible.org/nkjv/num/22/24/s_139024" target="blank">Numbers 22–24</a>).
<br />
<br />
Another instance was when Joseph's brothers planned on killing him. God knew they would, long before they were even born. So God arranged for some Ishmaelite traders to come by that exact location so that Joseph was instead sold to them for twenty shekels of silver. The trader in turn sold Joseph in Egypt to Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh and captain of the guard.<br />
<br />
See, God needed the get Jacob and his family down to Egypt so they would be isolated from intermarrying with the people of Canaan as Esau had. God knows all, and He knew that the Egyptians would not mix with Shepherds because they considered them to be unclean.<br />
<br />
One day God's people would be freed from bondage by Moses, and while going through plains of Moab on the side of the Jordan across from Jericho Balack, the King of Moab, saw them. Now Balack was exceedingly afraid of the people because they were so many, and he was sick with dread because of the children of Israel. So he hired a prophet to curse them. Which brings this commentary back to Balaam blessing the Israelites instead of cursing them, because God would not let him curse them.
<br />
<br />
History is repleat with moments of God suspending ones free will in order to accomplish a goal He desires. Many may scoff at this, but if He did not then why would we pray for his intervention in times of need?<br />
<br />
Like when a loved one is injured, or maybe they have been told they have cancer. How about those times we wanted a job, or maybe for Him to give us that extra boost of energy to accomplish a task. If we believed that God never helped us, then instead we would just allow a Dr to do the best they can, thus leaving our loved ones to suffer in times of tragedy.<br />
<br />
No, instead we pray for God to help. Oh I should also remind everyone to always add , " Thy will not my will." In doing so we pray that our will and His will are in alignment. Can you think of a time in your life when God suspended your will in order to keep you on the right track. A time your were denied something you dearly desired and thought you deserved. Just to realize, much later, it was the best thing to happen?<<br />
<br />
<span style="color: white; font-size: x-small;">0</span><span style="color: red; font-size: x-small;">1</span> The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD,<br />
<span style="color: white; font-size: x-small;">00</span> Like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.

<a name='more'></a>Advice from Wisdom vs advice from Folly is continually compared throughout the proverbs. We’ve seen these analogies often, but one thing that stands out in this chapter, is not so much the difference, but the similarities.<br />
<br />
Satan often imitates God to lure us in. After all, when you put out poison to kill a rodent, you do not use 100% poison, you only use enough to kill them. So you use 99% of a type of food they like, to lure them into eating. Once they eat, they get the 1% of poison that will kill them.<br />
<br />
In chapter 9, both wisdom and folly throw themselves at those of us who are simple and those who lack sense. So each are available to all of us. Both sit in “the high places in town,” so they are equally accessible to all of us. The difference is in what they are offering and the type of life that results in following each of them.
<br />
<br />
Wisdom offers insight and multiplication of days while folly offers material things such as sweet water and bread that already is ours, but by being lured away with material goods of the world, we can be led straight to hell. I take this as another way of saying that we need to chase after insight and not just stuff, because if we are following God's precepts, the rest will follow as a reward.
<br /><br />
<i>I pray that those who have ears to hear will hear His voice and call upon the name of the lord Jesus Christ.<br />
Amen</i>

<br />
<br />
When taken into context as to why so many shy away from the poor, it's usually because in the vast parts of the world a man is poor because he is lazy and never bothered to work hard enough to better his lot in life. Those closest to him understand why he is poor and they shy away from him, because a man's life is only as good as is his desire to succeed.
<br />
<br />
Laziness casts one into a deep sleep,
<br />
And an idle person will suffer hunger. (<span style="color: red;"><a href="https://proverbsnkjv.blogspot.com/1979/01/proverb-19-nkjv.html?view=flipcard">Proverb 19:15</a></span>)
<br />
A lazy man buries his hand in the bowl,
<br />
And will not so much as bring it to his mouth again. (<span style="color: red;"><a href="https://proverbsnkjv.blogspot.com/1979/01/proverb-19-nkjv.html?view=flipcard">Proverb 19:24</a></span>)
<br />
Wealth makes many friends,
<br />
But the poor is separated from his friend. (<span style="color: red;"><a href="https://proverbsnkjv.blogspot.com/1979/01/proverb-19-nkjv.html?view=flipcard">Proverb 19:4</a></span>)
<br />
All the brothers of the poor hate him;
<br />
How much more do his friends go far from him!
<br />
He may pursue them with words, yet they abandon him.(<span style="color: red;"><a href="https://proverbsnkjv.blogspot.com/1979/01/proverb-19-nkjv.html?view=flipcard">Proverb 19:17</a></span>)
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge that are those who are poor and out of sorts with no way to better themselves. However, these are the exceptions to the rule, and not the ones I speak of in this commentary. Considering the audience I am reaching, 95% of you fit into the category I am writing about.<br />
<br />
So what of those who are good men who follow the Lord yet still have calamity visiting them? Well, I ask you to consider Job who lost everything due to no cause of his own. Like Job, men of good character who's faith is in God and do what the Lord calls them to do, will eventually rise from the dust and regain that which they lost. Through hard work and diligence they will better themselves and bless their loved ones and friends in the process. While a lazy man will just drag those around him down to his level. He will have few friends, and even his family will shy away from him.
<br />
<br />
The Scriptures have a lot to say about laziness, especially the book of Proverbs. Considering it is a book of wisdom, God warns man by offering his wisdom concerning laziness and gives examples to those who listen to His advice. If you raise your child up in the way of the Lord, then they will grow up to understand the blessings and curses that are offered in the 66 books that make up the Bible. They will grow up to become good, wise, loving children of God, while understanding;<br />
<br />
<b>That a lazy person hates work:</b>
<br />
“The desire of the lazy man kills him, For his hands refuse to labor.” (<span style="color: red;"><a href="https://proverbsnkjv.blogspot.com/1979/01/proverb-21-nkjv.html?view=flipcard">Proverbs 21:25</a></span>)
<br />
<br />
<b>They love sleep:</b>
<br />
“As a door turns on its hinges, So does the lazy man on his bed.” (<span style="color: red;"><a href="https://proverbsnkjv.blogspot.com/1979/01/proverb-26-nkjv.html?view=flipcard">Proverbs 26:14</a></span>)
<br />
<br />
<b>They gives excuses:</b>
<br />
“The lazy man says, "There is a lion in the road! A fierce lion is in the streets!" (<span style="color: red;"><a href="https://proverbsnkjv.blogspot.com/1979/01/proverb-26-nkjv.html?view=flipcard">Proverbs 26:13</a></span>)
<br />
<br />
<b>They wastes time and energy:</b>
<br />
“He who is slothful in his work is a brother to him who is a great destroyer.” (<span style="color: red;"><a href="https://proverbsnkjv.blogspot.com/1979/01/proverb-18-nkjv.html?view=flipcard">Proverbs 18:9</a></span>)
<br />
<br />
<b>Even when something is right before them they refuse to do what they must:</b>
<br />
"Much food is in the fallow ground of the poor" (<span style="color: red;"><a href="https://proverbsnkjv.blogspot.com/1979/01/proverb-13-nkjv.html?view=flipcard">Proverbs 13:23</a></span>)
<br />
<br />
<b>they want, but are too lazy to achieve:</b>
<br />
“The soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing. (<span style="color: red;"><a href="https://proverbsnkjv.blogspot.com/1979/01/proverb-13-nkjv.html?view=flipcard">Proverbs 13:4-1</a></span>)
<br />
<br />
<b>And they believe they are wise, but in truth they are just a fool: </b>
<br />
“The lazy man is wiser in his own eyes than seven men who can answer sensibly.” (<span style="color: red;"><a href="https://proverbsnkjv.blogspot.com/1979/01/proverb-26-nkjv.html?view=flipcard">Proverbs 26:16</a></span>)
<br />
<br />
I always harp on people to read the Word, but not just the books you love the most, read everything in it from cover to cover. Plus I advise that everyone should read a Proverb a day, since the number of chapters almost equals the number of days in the Month. The repetition of reading a chapter a day will keep the wisdom of God at the forefront of your mind. There are so many moments in one's day that require proper wisdom to do the correct thing. Imagine how wise your child will be when they go out into the world on their own. They will have a huge advantage in a world that wants to devour those who are unprepared.
<br />
<br />
<b>Unlike others who's futures will be bleak:</b>
<br />
“The lazy man will not plow because of winter; he will beg during harvest and have nothing.” (<span style="color: red;"><a href="https://proverbsnkjv.blogspot.com/1979/01/proverb-20-nkjv.html?view=flipcard">Proverbs 20:4</a></span>)
<br />
<br />
<b>Your child will be ready to take charge and be a leader among others:</b>
<br />
“The hand of the diligent will rule, but the lazy man will be put to forced labor.” (<span style="color: red;"><a href="https://proverbsnkjv.blogspot.com/1979/01/proverb-12-nkjv.html?view=flipcard">Proverbs 12:24</a></span>)
<br />
<br />
<b>Their wisdom will lead them to be comfortable in life:</b>
<br />
"The soul of the diligent shall be made rich” (<span style="color: red;"><a href="https://proverbsnkjv.blogspot.com/1979/01/proverb-13-nkjv.html?view=flipcard">Proverbs 13:4-2</a></span>)
<br />
<br />
Your child will be versed in the love of Christ and have compassion, but wisdom enough to understand why many in poverty are there.
<br />
<blockquote>
<i>I went by the field of the lazy man,
And by the vineyard of the man devoid of understanding;
<br />
And there it was, all overgrown with thorns;
Its surface was covered with nettles;
Its stone wall was broken down.
<br />
When I saw it, I considered it well;
I looked on it and received instruction:
<br />
A little sleep, a little slumber,
A little folding of the hands to rest;
<br />
So shall your poverty come like a prowler,
And your need like an armed man.</i> (<span style="color: red;"><a href="https://proverbsnkjv.blogspot.com/1979/01/proverb-24-nkjv.html?view=flipcard">Proverbs 24:30-34</a></span>)
</blockquote>
As a Christian, we should labor in God’s strength to evangelize and disciple others. Working hard to get ahead does not just mean financially, but spiritually also. Many men of God work hard to advance the Lords kingdom, yet they are not wealthy in the terms of the world. They are wealthy in God's sight. While being wealthy in terms of the world is not a sin, it does lead to much temptation, because with much comes much responsibility.<br />
<br />
It takes a wise person who is grounded in the Word of God to properly balance ones wealth in the world with ones wealth in the Lord. Many a man has stumbled by putting too much significance in their bank account and not enough into their spiritual account. Preparing your child early by grounding their life in God's Word, you can be assured that they will keep the proper balance throughout their life.
<br />
<br />
I pray that those who have ears to hear will hear His voice and call upon the name of the lord Jesus Christ.
<br />

<br />
<br />
On a frigid morning, in an unheated brick garage at 2122 N. Clark St. in Chicago, seven men were lined up against a whitewashed wall and pumped with 90 bullets from submachine guns, shotguns and a revolver. It was the most infamous of all gangland slayings in America, and it savagely achieved its purpose--the elimination of the last challenge to Al Capone for the mantle of crime boss in Chicago.
<br />
<br />
A city that had been numbed senseless by the constant gangster killings over control of illegal beer and whiskey distribution, was left mortally shocked by what the media called, the St. Valentine's Day Massacre.<br />
<br />
For 89 years Al Capone's murder of his rival gang was the worse ever on Valentines day. Now, the day set aside for love and romance has once again been tarnished by another heinous act of violence that makes what Capone did look like child splay. This time it was committed by a young man bent on becoming a professional school shooter.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a>While many are asking how this could happen, many others are giving excuses of the how and why. I have held my opinion on this tragedy, while giving prayers for the families of those murdered and wounded. Today, I found the genesis of where the latest, and America's worst, school shooting began. No, it does not begin with the day the Founding Fathers gave us the Second Amendment.<br />
<br />
It began in 2013, when the NAACP made an agreement on how to stop wayward children of color from ending up in prison. An agreement that put in motion the events leading up to and including the loss of 17 innocent lives taken away from their loved ones.<br />
<br />
I have often times stated that every problem in America can be traced back to some asinine liberal idea or law. The worst being the removal of God from public places, especially the school house. Well, sadly, the events that set up the recent Valentine's Day Massacre is a perfect example of liberalism gone amok. Check out the post I found from the <a href="http://www.naacp.org/latest/ending-the-school-to-prison-pipeline-in-florida/">NAACP's own website</a> that was posted on NOVEMBER 5, 2013.

<b><span style="font-size: large;">ENDING THE SCHOOL TO PRISON PIPELINE IN FLORIDA</span></b></center>
<br />
<br />
<i>Press Release (2013) The NAACP has brokered a groundbreaking collaborative agreement on school discipline with Broward County Public Schools, law enforcement and its community partners. The agreement will serve as a model for school districts nationwide that aim to end the school to prison pipeline wreaking havoc in communities of color. <br /><br />
The collaborative agreement establishes proven alternatives to arrest for misdemeanor infractions by students that include common sense approaches such as counseling and mentorship. The historic agreement leverages the support of Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) and local law enforcement by reducing student suspensions, expulsions and arrests, while maintaining safe learning environments for students. <br /><br />
The agreement highlights the role of school officials in determining when student infractions warrant an arrest versus school disciplinary measures, particularly for minor misbehavior/offenses. The collaborative agreement is part of the national movement to end the schoolhouse to jailhouse pipeline. <br /><br />
Chairman of the NAACP National Board of Directors Roslyn M. Brock praised the new agreement: </i> <br />

<br />
This asinine program instituted in 2013 between the NAACP, Broward School Public Schools, and the Broward Sheriff's Office in effect shielded Nikolas Cruz from being prosecuted for all of his crimes committed at school. Prior to this 2013 agreement, Cruz would have been subject to arrest by the Sheriff's Office and prosecuted by the County District Attorney.
<br />
<br />
However law enforcement was not informed that Nikolas Cruz was selling knives at the school cafeteria, bringing ammunition to class, assaulting other students, and selling drugs on Parkland High School property, because this asinine agreement forbids the school from informing local law enforcement. Per the agreement made with the NAACP, Nikolas Cruz risked no legal consequences for his criminal behavior while in or on the school property.
<br />
<br />
The NAACP & the Broward County officials prove by this agreement that they are more interested in keeping criminals on the streets and in the schools, than they are about the safety of millions of school children around the country. Thanks to the liberals, young criminal minded thugs like Cruz are free to wreak havoc in the Broward schools and community. Only God knows how many other counties around the country have similar agreements.<br />
<br />
If you live in a community where your County administrators are considering, or already have implemented, the same policy of allowing thugs to have free reign in your schools and community, it is time to take a stand and stop it NOW! Or your community could be the next breaking news story for a school shooting tragedy.
<br />
<br />
Another added problem is that Broward County is also a sanctuary County. This means they want illegal criminals to stay in the community with the same criminal rights that led to Nikolas Cruz murdering 17 innocent people. How many more crimes must be allowed to be committed in schools around the country because liberals want to blame innocent Americans for believing in their constitutional right to bear arms. It takes people with criminal minds to use weapons to kill people, not weapons with criminal minds to use people.
<br />
<br />
By the way, it is a liberal idea that to this agreement between the NAACP and Broward County is based upon. Remember what the NAACP stands for, "<b>The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People</b>". It is not racist to point this out, because this agreement was specifically designed to exempt non-White students from the consequences of their criminal behavior at school.<br />
<br />
Now the news media may want to now refer to Nikolas Cruz as a White Hispanic, but he is by definition a person of color. The very type of human the NAACP was trying to keep from going to prison with this agreement. If anyone is racist, it is them and their idea that Humans need to be divided by the color of their skin.<br />
<br />
It is liberalism that has kept Nikolas Cruz out of the criminal justice system for years. This blatant disregard for the law has culminated in Broward County's very own St. Valentine's Day Massacre, but sadly this one was not committed against other murdering gangsters, it was committed against innocent children and their innocent teachers<br />
<br />
Is it any wonder the liberals want to blame America's constitution for crimes like this? It's their only way to deflect their guilt. They always accuse the constitution for being wrong when their dangerous ideas become policy and innocent people suffer.<br />
<br />
I am praying that someone in power, or someone with a national voice finds this agreement and spreads the story. Then all America can learn where the genesis of this particular crime came. When they do, I expect both Broward County and the NAACP to defend the idiocy and legality of this asinine program. It will then be followed in a few years by them both quietly, and with no fan fare from the MSM, agreeing to settle lawsuits ranging in the hundred's of millions of tax payer dollars.<br />
<br />
Lord God forgive us fore removing you from our schools.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04098633255855869282noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3993945038116768777.post-32705001252914061842018-02-17T09:14:00.000-08:002018-02-17T09:14:57.322-08:00A Prayer For Israel<center>

The history of Israel, from Abraham to present time, is most important to the world today. To the secular world this may be a confusing statement, however, to those who understand biblical truths, this statement is fully understandable.
<br /><br />
True Christians around the world look to protect Israel. According to the Old Testament (by which Judaism derives its beliefs) Israel is the beginning of Christian understanding. It is the beginning of Christianity; a time of preparation leading to Jesus Christ. To Christians, Israel is the homeland of their religion and the people of Israel are God's first chosen.
<br /><br />
To Christians, the Jewish people are their brothers and sisters who are missing the truth of Christ as their Messiah and Savior. Christians pray for Israel and support it in many ways, in the hope of bringing the nation of Israel and the Jewish people to see Jesus Christ as their Messiah.

<br /><br />
My Father, I pray for the nation of Israel, Your first born of all nations, the apple of Your eye on this rock we call earth. Lord today I especially pray for the one you chose among all men to lead Israel in this perilous of times. The enemy has his cross hairs on Benjamin Netanyahu, Lord, and they are trying to take him down so that Israel can become weak again in leadership. In my lifetime Lord, Israel has never been so strong and resolute as it has been under his leadership.
<br /><br />
Israel is surrounded my enemies who would like to take them out, but You Lord have watched over them and protected them, even in times when the leadership of the US has sided with Satan, you have kept them from being annihilated. Now America has a strong leader who himself is under fire, but as with Bibi, you have protected and helped him stand strong in the face of hate and danger.
<br /><br />
As with Israel having the strongest and steadfast leader in my lifetime, I can honestly say the Donald Trump is the strongest and sure handed leader in my life that America has had. I wish to take nothing away from Reagan whom we needed at the time, but even Ronald did not recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Your Nation Israel.
<br /><br />
Lord you have used Trumps strong will to even push Middle East countries like Saudi Arabia to stand by Israel against the very evil Iran and it's allies the Palestinian terrorists in the midst of Your chosen nation. Your handiwork is painted all over the world, and in those places of most trouble You O'Lord have directed Trump to take a stand against the evil which would destroy You work, and other than here at home, no place is so prevalent in Your guidance of Trump's focus as it is in the matters that concern Israel.
<br /><br />
Lord you have chosen two strong leaders to face the world together in Donald trump and Benjamin Netanyahu, and like the Gipper and the Iron Lady, they face a majority of leaders around the world that do not want the status quo to change, but You O'Lord have other plans and those plans include these two leaders who will see that Your will shall be done.
<br /><br />
Bless and keep Israel safe O'Lord, and make them stronger each and every day,
<br /><br />
In Jesus name I pray, Amen <br /><br />

You can know God's will for your life by reading the Word and praying for His will daily. God will reveal the things you need to know and do in His time. You will see that the evidence of your surrender is the manifested willingness to go to the Lord. You don't turn to other things this time, you turn to Him.
<br />
<br />
The life of Jesus was a life of attraction rather than promotion. The benefits He showers you with after you surrender will be nothing short of phenomenal. He tells us that His way of life is not a burden to follow or imitate and that you will find rest for our souls. What a Promise!
<br />
<blockquote>
"<span style="color: red;">Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. God tells us that we are free to plan our way, but our answers come from Him. It also shows that until we are delivered from self, all our ways are right in our own understanding. The Lord has to weigh our spirit; He has to search us and be allowed to lead and convict us. He is the only one who can make us committed, steadfast, consistent, and sufficient. After this, we operate in the mind of Christ and our minds are renewed and transformed. We are then enabled to perform the will of God in and through our lives.
<br />
<br />
Jesus tells us that belief in Him affects our conscience and our actions to the point we are able to entrust Him with our very lives. Faith in Him changes our knowledge and understanding of Him. It suddenly helps us see and understand the things that are unseen and helps us to let go of the things we see and value. We have change in the perspective of our reality, values of treasures, and those things we count as important.
<br />
<blockquote>
"That the god of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling , what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints." <a href="https://www.blueletterbible.org/nkjv/eph/1/17/s_1098017" target="blank">Ephesians 1:17-18</a>

<span style="color: red; font-size: x-small;"><i>True love only comes when you empty yourself of all yourself.<br />
Only then can you experience the love that God has for us</i></span></center>
<br />
<br />
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned,but have not love, it profits me nothing.
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
<br />
<br />
When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
<br />
<br />
And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. <br />
Some of you may know of Francis Chan, and thus have either a positive or negative impression of him. Usually it comes down to what some think of his teaching style. However you feel about him, I ask that you give this short video a listen.<br />
<br />
Now I am not trying to convince you to become a follower of Francis, but in this short 1:45 he says exactly what is wrong with many Christians when it comes to following the "Great Commission" of Jesus Christ that can be found in <a href="https://www.blueletterbible.org/nkjv/mat/28/18/s_957018">Matthew 28:18-21</a>;
<br />
<a name='more'></a><blockquote class="tr_bq">
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "<span style="color: red;">All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.</span>" Amen
</blockquote>
<br />
Too many Christians feel that all they need to do is show up at church, listen to the preacher, attend a few Bible studies, and memorize Scripture so they can say what other Christians want to hear. However, how many Christians truly step out of their comfort zone to share the Gospel, baptize believers and disciple them to where they too can follow the Great Commission themselves? For that matter, how many Christians can honestly say they brought other sinners to Christ? Or at least tried to, even if they failed?
<br />
<br />
Francis Chan was the founder and Pastor of a megachurch in Simi Valley California, Cornerstone Community Church. He and his wife started it in 1994. After 6 years of leading a flock of thousands, he decided to step down as Pastor. Francis felt the need to seek guidance from God as to how he could better serve God. Eventually he moved to San Francisco began a series of house churches. He is currently leading 15 home churches in a way that he feels better for reaching and leading Christians to fulfill Christ's Great Commission command.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04098633255855869282noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3993945038116768777.post-77114291124442621432018-01-26T07:58:00.000-08:002018-01-26T08:16:09.592-08:00Proverb 42:1 Only A Fool Would Want Rain At Harvest Time<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
<span style="color: red;"><b>1</b>.</span>) As snow in summer and rain in harvest,
<br />
So honor is not fitting for a fool. <a href="https://proverbsnkjv.blogspot.com/1979/01/proverb-26-nkjv.html?view=flipcard" target="blank">Proverb 42:1</a>
<br />
<br />
Very interesting in the way Solomon explains the folly of a fool in verse 1. No one but a fool would desire a snow blizzard in the middle of the Summer. Judea was primarily an agriculture society, so they needed the weather to be as it was meant to be. Just as a rain storm at harvest time would be a disaster for the farmer. So too would the weather needed for snow in mid Summer be a disaster to crops.
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
Israels climate is very similar to that of California's San Joaquin valley. It never, if ever, rains at harvest time, and it never snows in July. Imagine the mess a rain storm would create for workers and machinery in the muddy field as they sludge along to pick the crop, it would be very devastating.
<br />
<br />
In Northern California where I live, the walnut, and almond farmers lose millions if it rains when the trees are flowering. Their crop will be thin and they could very well fail to break even at harvest time.
<br />
<br />
Weather out of Season is a very undesirable, in fact it can and usually is very hurtful to the fruits of the earth. So only a fool would desire the weather to be different than God has ordained it to be.<br />
<br />
When the Israelites told Samuel that they wanted a king like the other nations had, he told them their King was God, and warned them how a human king would treat them. In an attempt to bring them to their senses, he asked the Lord to send a thunder storm at harvest time to show them their folly. To Samuel, asking for a king was as foolish as asking for rain at harvest time.
<br />
<blockquote>
“Is today not the wheat harvest? I will call to the LORD, and He will send thunder and rain, that you may perceive and see that your wickedness is great, which you have done in the sight of the LORD, in asking a king for yourselves.” So Samuel called to the LORD, and the LORD sent thunder and rain that day; and all the people greatly feared the LORD and Samuel.<a href="https://www.blueletterbible.org/nkjv/1sa/12/17/s_248017" target="blank">1 Samuel 12:17</a></blockquote>
If we have the faith of a mustard seed, we would accept things as they should be, and not desire the things that should not be. Whether it be rain or snow out of season, or a king to rule over us. It is but a foolish act to desire something which is not in our best interest. Who I ask, knows what is best for us besides our Lord and Creator, our Father in Heaven? So be wise in what you ask the Lord for, and understand that some things are not in our own best interest.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04098633255855869282noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3993945038116768777.post-50236962620139994442018-01-24T07:29:00.000-08:002018-01-24T07:30:21.929-08:00Psalm 1 Be Like A Tree Planted By The Rivers Of Water<center>

But the way of the ungodly shall perish.</blockquote>
<a name='more'></a>Unlike all the others, this psalm has no title. Many call it “The Preface Psalm”, in that it introduces the whole book of psalms. While others simply refer to it as, “The Psalm of Psalms”. In the metaphrase of Apollinarius it is given the title, “<i>A Song of David, the Prophet and King</i>”. Thomas Watson may have said it best when he wrote in his book “<i>The Saints Spiritual Delight</i>”,
<br />
<blockquote>
<i>This Psalm begins where we all hope to end: it may well be called a “Christian's Guide”, for it discovers the quick-sands, where the wicked sink into perdition, while the saints find a firm ground to tread the narrow road to glory.</i></blockquote>
David officially credited with writing 72 of the psalms, unofficially he wrote 75 of them. The Jews have Psalm 1 & 2 joined as one in their writings. It is in Acts 4:25 where we learn that David is the author of Psalm 2, and Hebrews 4:7 tells us that he also wrote psalm 95.<br />
<br />
There is no record as to what precipitated the writing of this psalm, nor when it was. Like the vast majority of the teachings in the Bible, the sentiments this psalm relates to could be applicable to all times, all lands, and all people. After reading it however, you get a better sense of why it was categorized as the first psalm. Psalm 1 is a proverbial psalm, contrasting two opposites to make its point.<br />
<br />
Verses 1 & 2 shows us the blessedness of the righteous, in their avoiding every appearance of evil.<br />
Verses 3 & 4 points out the ungodly, under the metaphor of chaff driven away by the wind.<br />
Verses 5 & 6 gives us the contrasting results of living either a righteous or an unrighteous life.
<br />
<br />
I pray my message on Psalm 1 blesses your heart, and enlightens your mind as I attempt to explain the meaning behind the words so eloquently penned some 3000 years ago.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04098633255855869282noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3993945038116768777.post-77616273592712570832018-01-18T07:45:00.000-08:002018-01-19T07:47:17.876-08:00Stop Being Greedy With The Light Of Christ<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
Proverb 18:<span style="color: red; font-size: x-small;">1</span> A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire;
<br />
<span style="color: white; font-size: x-small;">00</span> He rages against all wise judgment.
<br />
<br />
Proverb 18:<span style="color: red; font-size: x-small;">24</span> A man who has friends must himself be friendly,
<br />
<span style="color: white; font-size: x-small;">00</span> But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
<br />
<br />
In today's world, we fight against our desire to isolate ourselves from the world that is so dangerous and greedy. We feel as though we would rather not make new friends so that we will not be harmed or taken advantage of. This goes against what God created us to be and is thus very unwise, for we were created to be social and friendly with others. <br />
<br />
This is what the Lord wants us to be, because otherwise we are just keeping the Light of the Lord hidden under a basket instead of allowing the Light in us to shine on others who are lost stumbling in the dark. <br />
<br />
This is something that I struggle against as I get older. I seem to steer away from strangers when I should be confronting them with the love of Christ. I am saddened for all the times I failed to share my best friend, whom is Christ, and thus I kept Hie light under a basket and and failed to share His love which was once shared with me.
<br />
<br />
Lord, forgive me for being greedy with that which you gave me. Change my greedy fearful heart, and help me be what I was when I was a younger man. Bold in Your name, and bold in the face of that which my aging heart seems to be fearful of. For I know in my heart that with You I have nothing to fear. So I pray for Your strength so that I can again be the spiritual and fearless warrior I once was. <br />

<br />
In Proverb 9:1 we read that;
<br />
<blockquote>
<i> “Wisdom has built her house, <br />She has hewn out her seven pillars"</i></blockquote>
This is obviously a symbolic description, since Wisdom is personified. So what is this house and what are these “Seven Pillars” that wisdom has erected?
<br />
<br />
Many explanations exist regarding the seven pillars of wisdom in this passage. One idea is that, seven expresses completeness in Scripture, thus Solomon may be communicating that the application of wisdom results in a complete, orderly, well-furnished house, one that which lacks nothing.
<br />
<br />
Then there are commentators who see the seven pillars as describing a traditional banquet. So then, Wisdom’s call in Proverbs 9:5 would be fitting in that;<br />
<blockquote>
<i> “Come, eat of my bread<br />
And drink of the wine I have mixed”</i></blockquote>
I would be remiss if I failed to point out how many ancient writers often described the world as resting on seven pillars. If this was Solomon's meaning, it is possible that “her house” in Proverbs 9:1 is parallel in some way with the world. However, I offer this belief just to allow all thought to be considered I actually doubt this is what Solomon was referring to, because when he wrote he did so under the influence of the Holy Spirit. So we must look to the Strictures themselves for the answer.
<br />
<br />
Which brings me to 2 men who wrote extensive commentary on the Scriptures, John Gill & Matthew Henry. John Gill of Proverb 9:1 that;
<br />
<blockquote>
<i>”<b>Wisdom has built her house</b>”....”There are two other senses, which bid fairest one of them to be right; <br /><b>
(1.)</b> Either the heavenly glory, the house not made with hands, Christ's Father's house, in which are many mansions for his people; and which is a city whose builder and maker is God, and is prepared by Christ; and stands firm upon the promises of God, the person, blood, and righteousness of Christ, and the grace of the blessed Spirit: <br /><b>
(2.)</b> Or rather the church of Christ on earth, the house of the living God, the pillar and ground of truth; this is built by Christ upon himself, the rock and foundation; the materials of it are true believers, precious and lively stones; built up a spiritual house, and a fit and suitable habitation for God through the Spirit. </i>
<br />
<br />
As for, <b>she hath hewn out her seven pillars</b> John Gill suggests 3 meanings;
<br />
<br />
<i><b>(1.)</b> Ministers of the Gospel, compared to pillars for strength and stability, and for their being instrumental in supporting the interest and church of Christ; in allusion to the pillars in Solomon's temple, Jachin and Boaz; see <a href="https://www.blogger.com/%E2%80%9Dhttps://www.blueletterbible.org/nkjv/gal/2/9/s_1093009%E2%80%9D" target="”blank”">Gallatians 2:9</a> These are said to be "hewn", being polished, beautified, and adorned with the gifts and graces of the Spirit by Christ, and thereby fitted for their work and service; and said to be "seven", because there is a complete and sufficient number of them, which Christ has provided, and always will provide for his churches, as long as they continue in the world.<br /><b>
(2.)</b> Though it may be these seven pillars may denote in general the firmness and solidity of this spiritual building, the church, and the continuance of it by the power of God; <br /><b>
(3.)</b> Or they may have respect to the seven states of the church in so many periods of time, to last to the end of all things, signified by the seven churches in the book of the Revelation.”</i></blockquote>
Matthew Henry suggests that the house in Proverb 9:1 eludes to the place Jesus mentioned, <span style="color: ”red”;"><i>“<span style="color: red;">In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also</span>”.</i></span> (<a href="https://www.blogger.com/%E2%80%9Dhttps://www.blueletterbible.org/nkjv/jhn/14/2/s_1011002%E2%80%9D" target="”blank”">John 14:2</a>) While the seven pillars could be a reference to the Temple Solomon built, or the schools of the prophets;
<br />
<blockquote>
<i>Here is a stately palace provided, Pro_9:1. Wisdom, not finding a house capacious enough for all her guests, has built one on purpose, and, both to strengthen it and to beautify it, she has hewn out her seven pillars, which make it to be very firm, and look very great. Heaven is the house which Wisdom has built to entertain all her guests that are called to the marriage-supper of the Lamb; that is her Father's house, where there are many mansions, and whither she has gone to prepare places for us. She has hanged the earth upon nothing, there in it we have no continuing city; but heaven is a city that has foundations, has pillars. The church is Wisdom's house, to which she invites her guests, supported by the power and promise of God, as by seven pillars. Probably, Solomon refers to the temple which he himself had lately built for the service of religion, and to which he would persuade people to resort, both to worship God and to receive the instructions of Wisdom. Some reckon the schools of the prophets to be here intended
</i></blockquote>
Considering these interpretive options, it is likely that “her house” and “seven pillars” both refer to a home that is in proper order, with the use of “seven” emphasizing its completeness and all-sufficiency. Overall, Proverb 9 is presented in a chiastic structure, meaning the first and last portions are parallel ideas with the main point in the center passage. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding” The entire Proverb is devoted to the emphasis of seeking wisdom, avoiding folly, and finding this wisdom in the Lord.
