What Proverbs Tell Us, About Laziness vs Diligence
When taken into context as to why so many shy away from the poor, it's usually because in the vast parts of the world a man is poor because he is lazy and never bothered to work hard enough to better his lot in life. Those closest to him understand why he is poor and they shy away from him, because a man's life is only as good as is his desire to succeed.
Laziness casts one into a deep sleep,
And an idle person will suffer hunger. (Proverb 19:15)
A lazy man buries his hand in the bowl,
And will not so much as bring it to his mouth again. (Proverb 19:24)
Wealth makes many friends,
But the poor is separated from his friend. (Proverb 19:4)
All the brothers of the poor hate him;
How much more do his friends go far from him!
He may pursue them with words, yet they abandon him.(Proverb 19:17)

Book Of Isaiah, A Miniature Bible
If you ever want to study a book of the Bible that will give you great insight from a prophetic point of view, may I suggest you study the Book of Isaiah. Isaiah wrote what many have called the miniature Bible in the Bible. Like all Scripture, Isaiah is inspired by God. However, Isaiah is unique in it's arrangement. Something I believe it was divinely inspired to be so.
Consider the following, how many books does the Bible have? Sixty-six. How many chapters does Isaiah have? Sixty-six. How many books are there in the Old Testament? Thirty-nine, and therefore twenty-seven in the New Testament. And the book of Isaiah divides exactly in that way. The first half of the book comprises thirty-nine chapters. There is a distinct division at chapter 40, so that the remaining twenty-seven chapters constitute the second half of this book like the New Testament.

Why Read A Proverb Every Day? Proverb 1
Many have asked me why I put so much importance in the book of Proverbs.
Well, first of all, I believe that too many people lack the proper wisdom to see past all the confusion Satan has placed before their eyes. So I want to help others to see the truth by giving the tool best suited for the job. And what better tool can one use than the one the Apostle Paul tells is the Wisdom of God. 1Corinthians 1:26-30
What better way to understand the Wisdom of God, than to repeatedly read the book He gave us that fully describes His Wisdom? Don't get me wrong, you should be reading the whole Bible, but no other book fits so perfectly in the Month of our lives like the book of Proverbs.
For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God--and righteousness and sanctification and redemption-- that, as it is written, "He who glories, let him glory in the LORD."
1 Corinthians 1:26-30

Seven Things God Hates About Wicked Men (Proverbs 6)
Dangerous Promises
Seven Deadly Sins
01 My son, if you become surety for your friend,
00 If you have shaken hands in pledge for a stranger,
02 You are snared by the words of your mouth;
00 You are taken by the words of your mouth.
03 So do this, my son, and deliver yourself;
00 For you have come into the hand of your friend:
00 Go and humble yourself;
00 Plead with your friend.
04 Give no sleep to your eyes,
00 Nor slumber to your eyelids.
05 Deliver yourself like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter,
00 And like a bird from the hand of the fowler.

Warning Against Immorality (Proverbs 5)
The Peril of Adultery
Warning Against Immorality
01 My son, pay attention to my wisdom;
00 Lend your ear to my understanding,
02 That you may preserve discretion,
00 And your lips may keep knowledge.
03 For the lips of an immoral woman drip honey,
00 And her mouth is smoother than oil;
04 But in the end she is bitter as wormwood,
00 Sharp as a two-edged sword.
05 Her feet go down to death,
00 Her steps lay hold of hell.
06 Lest you ponder her path of life--
00 Her ways are unstable;
00 You do not know them.

Proverb A Day, Proverb 28
“The hole,” known to the world as the “spider hole,” is the tiny underground bunker on Namiq’s
farm where former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein was captured by U.S. soldiers on Dec. 13, 2003.
Proverbs 28
The Righteous Are Bold as a Lion
01 The wicked flee when no one pursues,
00But the righteous are bold as a lion.
02 Because of the transgression of a land, many are its princes;
00But by a man of understanding and knowledge
00Right will be prolonged.
03 A poor man who oppresses the poor
00Is like a driving rain which leaves no food.

Proverb A Day, Proverb 14 [Prayer and Meditation]
Proverb 14 (NKJV)
The Ways of Life and Death
01 The wise woman builds her house,
00 But the foolish pulls it down with her hands.
02 He who walks in his uprightness fears the LORD,
00 But he who is perverse in his ways despises Him.
03 In the mouth of a fool is a rod of pride,
00 But the lips of the wise will preserve them.
04 Where no oxen are, the trough is clean;
00 But much increase comes by the strength of an ox.
05 A faithful witness does not lie,
00 But a false witness will utter lies.
