It's All About Electing A Woman As President In 2020

Seems like a day doesn't go by without another woman accusing some guy of sexually harassing her. Most of the accusations are from incidents that took place so long ago that there is no way to prove or disprove the accusation. The stories are about men from all walks of life, and both sides of the political spectrum. From Hollywood to Congress, women are telling stories about how men they worked for, or with, treating them like sex toys. Older men being accused of forcing themselves upon young women and teen girls some ten, fifteen and even as long ago as forty years ago.

Be God's Representative To Your Children Proverb 22:6

We all learn from our parents, as do our children learn from us, as to how we should live our lives. It's just a matter of what example we as parents want our children to learn from. If parents live lives as we should, then we and our children will learn to live the same. If a parent cusses, cheats, do drugs, complains all the time, or never works. Well the chances are the children will do the same.

Throughout my life I have seen many who learned early that God is real, and Christ is the way to Him. Many like myself, fell away and lived a part of my life self indulging my own selfish desires. Eventually those who do as I did, will pay the price. It's just a matter of how far one goes down the wrong path before we cry for the One we know will save us. We know Who that one is, because of our early years when our parents taught us about Him. Then when we come home we are accepted as if we never left.

The Apostle John tells us in his Gospel that is Who God God is. A forgiving Father who gave His only Son so that we can be free from sin and condemnation.

Laziness Is Destructive, Proverbs 13

Wisdom Loves Righteousness

01 A wise son heeds his father's instruction,
00 But a scoffer does not listen to rebuke.

02 A man shall eat well by the fruit of his mouth,
00 But the soul of the unfaithful feeds on violence.
03 He who guards his mouth preserves his life,
00 But he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction.

04 The soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing;
00 But the soul of the diligent shall be made rich.

The Crafty Harlot, Proverb 7

Proverb 7 (NKJV)

The Wiles of a Harlot

01 My son, keep my words,
00 And treasure my commands within you.
02 Keep my commands and live,
00 And my law as the apple of your eye.
03 Bind them on your fingers;
00 Write them on the tablet of your heart.
04 Say to wisdom, "You are my sister,";
00 And call understanding your nearest kin,
05 That they may keep you from the immoral woman,
00 From the seductress who flatters with her words.

The Crafty Harlot

06 For at the window of my house
00 I looked through my lattice,
07 And saw among the simple,
00 I perceived among the youths,
00 A young man devoid of understanding,
08 Passing along the street near her corner;
00 And he took the path to her house
09 In the twilight, in the evening,
00 In the black and dark night.

Proverb 3 Honor The Lord With Your Blessings

Proverb 3 (NKJV)

Guidance for the Young

01 My son, do not forget my law,
00 But let your heart keep my commands;
02 For length of days and long life
00 And peace they will add to you.

03 Let not mercy and truth forsake you;
00 Bind them around your neck,
00 Write them on the tablet of your heart,
04 And so find favor and high esteem
00 In the sight of God and man.

Alabama State Senate Votes To Allow A Church To Have It's Own Police Force

Alabama Senate votes to allow church to form police dept.

by Chuck Ness
I have seen this time and time again. A church feels they are under attack by outside forces and they decide to use armed guards to protect the Pastors and parishioners. The first time I ran across this was in the early "80"s when I asked if my wife and child could attend my sister-in-laws church. She told me she would have to get permission from the leaders of the church to attend. After inquiring why, I learned that the church had been under attack and that guards were placed at the entrances, and no one was allowed in that was not a member.

This struck me odd, because ever since I was a young boy I was allowed to walk into any church I wanted to, and sit and listen to the sermon.  Yes, even when I walked into a Catholic Church when I was 11, I walked in and just sat down with no one trying to stop me. In the years since, I have grown to disagree with Catholicism. I digress though because this is not about the Catholic church. I later learned that my sister-in-laws church was the, "World Wide Church Of God", and a cult. Since then it's founder, Herbert W. Armstrong has died, and his successor has brought the church into the mainstream of Christ's teachings, The WCG has also been recognized by the National Association of Evangelicals. However, this is about an Evangelical church in Alabama that decided to ask the State of Alabama if they could create their own police force. So far they have the Alabama State Senate approved by a 24 to 4 vote.

Why Does God Allow Christians to Suffer?

By Chuck Ness
“Why didn’t God just create us so that we would never have to experience pain, suffering, or sadness?”
After all, God has the power to make the world free of evil, yet He chose instead to make us creatures with free will. Thus, free will was the door left open for the possibility of evil entering our lives.

Then one must ask, "What's the purpose of pain, suffering? Why does God allow humans, who were made in His image, to live on a planet where evil abounds?"

Well, God could have made us perfect without the ability to sin, and we would have never known pain and suffering. Instead of being as we are, we would then be like Chatty Cathy dolls.  Just pull the string and watch us do and say whatever we were programmed. Is that the kind of life you would wish to live? Well, obviously God did not think so either. That’s the short answer to why God created us with free will.
