Happy Valentines To Everyone from Christ Jesus

True love only comes when you empty yourself of all yourself.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned,but have not love, it profits me nothing.

God Is In Control, Proverb 3:5-6

So many times we all wish we had a gift to peer into the future. All men desire that gift so they can live their life accordingly. They want to be able to avoid the pitfalls, and get right to the great things that will happen. They desire the gift so they will make the right choice.

Well, we have that gift, it comes from God. A gift all born again Christians get when they accept Christ as their Lord and Savior. It's the gift of discernment, and all we need to take advantage of that gift is to put our faith in Christ to do for us that which  He promises. Now if He gave us a gift to see the future outright, then He would not expect us to live by faith. We need to have faith that God will direct our path. Today's chosen Scripture from Proverb 3 verses 5 & 6,

Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths. Proverb 3:5-6

Deprive Me Not, Proverb 30:7-9

These are some of my favorite verses in the Bible. Of the words of wisdom, they are the ones I utter in my prayers the most. As we all do I'm sure, I often time pray for lies and deceit to be far from my lips, and heart, but so few consider the trappings of fame and fortune. A cursory look at Hollywood to see what fame and fortune can do to ones life. Remember that sweet little girl who sang beautiful songs with her father? Yes, the one who turned out to be just another harlot of Satan. I speak of course of Miley Cyrus.

The religion Of Global Warming/Climate Change

For those who do not understand the blind loyalty of people who follow people like Al Gore and their Global Warming crusades, you must understand that to them it is nothing short of a religious belief.

That’s right; Global Warming is a religion whose god is Mother Earth. For Al Gore and other politicians, it’s just another means to control the masses, but the religious aspect of Global Warming is ultimately how they are able to convince so many people that it truly does exist and man is responsible for creating it.

To really explain what it is I mean, I need to first define the term religion. Then I can show you how Global Warming fills all the needed requirements of a religion. To begin with, not all religions refer to God or gods. They do not all base their systems upon morals or some belief in an afterlife. Also, not all religious followers can properly explain exactly what it is they believe. The groups, practices and systems that we identify as religions are so diverse that it is no easy task to bring them all under one simple definition.

What Are You Addicted To?

Every human has been hot wired with a special faith component to our souls, even agnostics and atheists have faith in what they believe. Another way to explain this would be to say we have all been created with an addiction gene. It's that ever yearning desire to find something that will make us feel like we belong, or comfortable in our own skin if you will.

From the moment we become conscious of our self, we begin searching for that One Thing our soul craves. For each of us it could be a different point in life. Some find it when they are 10, some at 14, and yet others may take years before they find it, even into their 90s or on their deathbed. Sadly, most humans never find it until it's much, much too late. However, each and everyone of us are in search of it, even though we don't realize it.

Why Does God Allow Christians to Suffer?

“Why didn’t God just create us so that we would never have to experience pain, suffering, or sadness?”

After all, God has the power to make the world free of evil, yet He chose instead to make us creatures with free will. Thus, free will was the door left open for the possibility of evil entering our lives.

Then one must ask, "What's the purpose of pain, suffering? Why does God allow humans, who were made in His image, to live on a planet where evil abounds?"

Well, God could have made us perfect without the ability to sin, and we would have never known pain and suffering. Instead of being as we are, we would then be like Chatty Cathy dolls.  Just pull the string and watch us do and say whatever we were programmed. Is that the kind of life you would wish to live? Well, obviously God did not think so either. That’s the short answer to why God created us with free will.

Politics & Religion, Do They Mix?

Most people would agree that politics and religion are the two most likely topics that divide even the best of friends. Websters dictionary says that politics is the political opinions or sympathies of a person, while it says that religion is a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith. I don’t see the difference between the two.

When I watch elected officials on the floor of the US Senate or House, I am reminded of an old friend of mine who pastors a church in Columbus, Georgia. He will flail his arms all around as he preaches his views on the Holy Scriptures. If your in agreement with their opinion, you could easily get engrossed as you listen to them share their deep-seated and fervent beliefs in such an animated way.
